เมื่อวันที่ 22-25 เมษายน 2567 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ฐาปนีย์ ธรรมเมธา ผู้อำนวยโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย, รองศาสตราจารย์ เภสัชกร ดร.อนุชัย ธีระเรืองไชยศรี, และศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จินตวีร์ คล้ายสังข์ รองผู้อำนวยการโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย และ ดร. วรสรวง ดวงจินดา อนุกรรมการโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย ได้เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนา Smart Education ครั้งที่ 6 และ งานประชุมวิชาการ Anniversary Conference of the Online Education Research Center กระทรวงศึกษาธิการแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ครั้งที่ 10 ณ มหาวิทยาลัย Tsinghua กรุงปักกิ่ง สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน
ในงานนี้ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ฐาปนีย์ ธรรมเมธา ผู้อำนวยโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยไซเบอร์ไทย ได้ร่วมเวทีเสวนา ในหัวข้อ “กลยุทธ์และแนวทางปฏิบัติในการแบ่งปันและร่วมสร้างทรัพยากรทางการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพภายใต้ความร่วมมือภายในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ” (Strategies and Practices for Sharing and Co-Constructing High-Quality Educational Resources through Domestic and International Cooperation) ร่วมกับตัวแทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยในประเทศจีน และสมาชิกของ Global MOOC and Online Education Alliance รวมกว่า 800 ท่าน ในวันอังคารที่ 23 เมษายน 2567
และวันพุธที่ 24 เมษายน 2567 ได้เข้าพบ Professor Yang Bin รองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัย เข้าเยี่ยมชมสำนักงาน Online Education Center และ XuetangX และประชุมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการต่างๆ ร่วมกับ Wang Xiaoxiao, Director, Online Education Center, Tsinghua University และ Secretary-General, Global MOOC and Online Education Alliance และคณะ และผู้บริหารจากมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ อาทิเช่น Guilin University of Technology, Jinan University, Shanghai University และ Chengdu University of Technology ในเรื่องการร่วมมือทางวิชาการ การแลกเปลี่ยนรายวิชาระหว่างแพลตฟอร์ม การแปลภาษาและการสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์เพื่อรองรับกลุ่มผู้ใช้และการเรียนเพื่อสะสมหน่วยกิต รวมถึงการจัดงานประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ Digital Literacy Workshop ที่จะจัดขึ้นในประเทศไทยช่วงเดือนพฤษภาคม 2567
จุดสำคัญของการเข้าร่วมประชุมในครั้งนี้ของ Thai MOOC คือการได้นำเสนอความคืบหน้าของการดำเนินงานในฐานะแพลตฟอร์มการเรียนรู้ดิจิทัลแห่งชาติ ซึ่งส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตแบบไร้พรมแดน ด้วยความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างแพลตฟอร์ม Thai MOOC และ แพลตฟอร์ม MOOC อื่นๆจากต่างประเทศ ทั้งจากหน่วยงานราชการและหน่วยงานเอกชน รวมทั้งการบูรณาการเทคโนโลยี AI เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพการให้บริการแก้ประชาชนชาวไทย ด้วยระบบ AI Chatbot ซึ่งเป็นความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานภาคเอกชนจากประเทศไทยอย่าง บอทน้อย แชทบอท (Botnoi) ด้วยกันการนำเสนอตัวอย่างวีดิโอ รายวิชาที่มีการพากย์ เสียงทับ จากภาษาไทย เป็นภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาจีนด้วยเทคโนโลยี Voice Cloning และการ Lip Syncing
Thailand Cyber University Advances Thai Education on the Global Stage
Beijing, China – April 26th, 2024 – Thailand Cyber University (TCU), a flagship initiative under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), has made significant strides in advancing Thai education through strategic collaborations and innovative technological integration.
A distinguished TCU delegation, led by Project Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thapanee Thammetar, actively engaged in discussions and collaborations furthering the advancement of online education. The delegation included Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Jintavee Khlaisang, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anuchai Theeraroungchaisri, and Board Member Dr. Vorasuang (Michael) Duangchinda. They all participated in the 6th Smart Education Seminar and the 10th Anniversary Conference of the Online Education Research Center at Tsinghua University in Beijing. There were high ranking officers from Chinese Ministry of Education, Vice-President and high level of management of Tsinghua University, approximately 800 education leaders from around China, and delegates from Indonesia and Vietnam attended the conference.
During the event, the delegates engaged in a high-level panel discussion, highlighting TCU’s groundbreaking strategies for open access to high-quality educational resources. Including partnership with global MOOC organization such as the Global MOOC.
The delegation further strengthened academic ties with Tsinghua University, discussing course exchanges between Thai MOOC and XuetangX, as well as an upcoming Digital Literacy Workshop in May 2024. TCU leadership also showcased its commitment to innovation with cutting-edge AI developments, including an AI Chatbot and advanced language translation capabilities for expanded global reach.
Sharing Knowledge on a Global Stage
On April 23rd, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thapanee Thammetar contributed to a panel discussion titled “Strategies and Practices for Sharing and Co-Constructing High-Quality Educational Resources through Domestic and International Cooperation: Roundtable Forum with Chinese University Representatives and Members of the Global MOOC and Online Education Alliance.”
Fostering Academic Collaboration
The TCU delegation met with Professor Bin YANG, Vice President of Tsinghua University, to explore academic cooperation. Key areas of focus included

Showcasing Thai MOOC Advancements
TCU leaders highlighted the platform’s strides as a national digital learning hub for lifelong learning. They emphasized borderless collaborations with international platforms and diverse sectors. Additionally, they showcased AI-powered enhancements, including:

- Thai MOOC AI Chatbot: Providing enhanced user support.

- Advanced Language Translation: Demonstrating Thai-to-English and Thai-to-Simplified Chinese video dubbing technology developed in partnership with the Thai company “Botnoi.” The original Thai MOOC clip was dubbed in to English and Simplified Chinese with advanced AI voice cloning and lip syncing technologies as offered by Botnoi
